These gorgeous Petal dessert plates are hand formed into an elegant shape reminiscent of the petals of a flower. A unique statement piece for your entrées, desserts, cakes and snacks. Mix & match all colours or layer with our Scalloped and Ruffle plates for a stunning table setting.

Handmade in Noosa from stunning white Australian porcelain clay, the petals are shaped entirely by hand with no two pieces exactly the same.

Hand-brushed with our non-toxic, food-safe Hazelnut glaze. The base of the plate is unglazed and polished smooth after firing, creating a vitrified stone-like surface with a tactile feel.

Stacking
Please note that due to the nature of our hand-shaped petals, they do not line up exactly the same on each plate ~ our petal plates do not stack 'perfectly' for this reason. We recommend using felt plate dividers for protection and easy stacking.

Dimensions
Measures approx 19cm in diameter from the widest points ~ perfect for entrées, dessert and cake.

Care Instructions

All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All of our pieces ~ with the exception of gold lustre decorations ~ are dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

Gold lustre finishes are fired in the kiln for durability & food safety, however please note they are not dishwasher or ovenproof. DO NOT microwave lustre pieces as we use true gold!
