All Kim Wallace ceramics are handmade and colours, brush strokes and glaze variations may vary from the photos shown ~ this is not considered a fault but is part of the beauty of these glazes and the handcrafted ceramics process.

Our gorgeous Ruffle plates are hand-crafted with love to provide a real statement at mealtimes. Handmade in our Noosa studio from stunning white Australian porcelain clay, the ruffled edges are shaped entirely by hand with no two pieces exactly the same.

Hand-brushed with our non-toxic, food-safe Hazelnut glaze. The base of the plate is unglazed and polished smooth after firing, creating a vitrified stone-like surface with a tactile feel.

Stacking
Please note that the wonderful individuality of our hand-shaped ruffles means that the ruffles do not line up exactly in the same spot on each plate ~ they do not stack 'perfectly' for this reason. We recommend using felt plate dividers for protection and easy stacking.

Dimensions
Measures approx 24cm in diameter ~ great for smaller dinners or use as a lunch plate. Beautiful layered with our Scalloped XL Plates for a luxurious table setting.

Care Instructions
All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes.

All our ceramics are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable. All of our pieces ~ with the exception of gold lustre decorations ~ are dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

Gold lustre finishes are fired in the kiln for durability & food safety, however please note they are not dishwasher or ovenproof. DO NOT microwave lustre pieces as we use true gold!
