There’s something so warm and delightful, wholesome and magic to this one, and the name just jumped out at me! While she’s inspired by the colours and stunning horizons of outback Australia, the sky is definitely coming from the recent changeable skies we have had here in Victoria. I painted this golden beauty under a midnight storm cloud - and I think it shows!

Homemade Cherry Pie has been painted with brush and palette knife to ensure interest and an abundance of intricate texture. Gold foil adds a special and magical highlight to the artwork.
